Our Scholarship Initiative
To promote continuing education we offer a scholarship of $1000.00-$3,000.00 to a high school senior from the surrounding Lake, Sumter and Marion county communities. The money is paid directly to the student. The process includes completing an application and a short essay about the student's career aspirations.
To apply for one of our Scholarships, students must submit a completed application. Additionally, applicants must meet or exceed the following criteria.
- Student is a graduating high school senior with at least a 2.50 GPA
- Student plans to enroll in a higher education endeavor (2 or 4 year college, trade, or business school)
- Student attends one of the target high schools: i.e Lake Weir HS, Leesburg HS, Wildwood Middle HS, The Villages Charter High School. 2026 Sophisticated Gents of Florida Student Scholarship Application (1).pdf
